BudgetAppsCo: Who We Are and What We Build
Meet BudgetAppsCo — an indie studio building simple, powerful, and affordable apps and games. Here's our story, our philosophy, and a tour of everything we've made so far.
Welcome to the BudgetAppsCo blog. Since you’re here, let us introduce ourselves properly — who we are, what we believe, and what we’ve built.
Our mission
Smart apps. Better budgets. That’s not just a tagline — it’s the whole point. We build simple, powerful, and affordable apps that help people save time, stay organized, and make smarter decisions. Great software shouldn’t require a big budget, and it shouldn’t be bloated with the things that make modern apps frustrating.
What we believe
- Affordable. Free or low-cost, with no dark patterns and no pressure.
- Innovative. We chase ideas that are genuinely fun or useful — from real-time relativity to daily history puzzles.
- Trustworthy. Privacy-first by default. Most of our apps keep your data on your device.
- Productive. We build tools that save you time, not steal it with infinite feeds.
- Growing. New apps and updates ship regularly, and the lineup keeps expanding.
What we’ve built
Here’s a quick tour of the current lineup:
- Date Jar — A playful, physics-based jar of couples’ date ideas. Shake, pick, and never get stuck on “what should we do tonight?” again. Weather-aware suggestions, streaks, and achievements included.
- Yearly — A daily history puzzle. Four clues, one mystery year, four guesses, and a grade to chase. A fresh handcrafted puzzle every single day.
- iRelativity — Turns Einstein’s special relativity into something you can watch happen. It uses your GPS speed to calculate real-time time dilation and tracks how much time you’ve “saved.”
- Helix Hopper — A clean, one-tap arcade climber. Time your hops around a winding helix, chase the leaderboard, and prove it’s better than Flappy Bird.
- Trail Tail — A charming new game, currently in the final stages before launch. Coming soon to the App Store.
- Missile Man — Our Steam debut: a precision bullet-hell boss rush with 28 bosses, a graze-combo system, and four difficulty modes. Launching June 2026 with a free demo.
What’s next
We’re always building. Expect more apps, regular updates to the ones you already use, and this blog filling up with guides and deep dives that pair with what we make — date-night inspiration, puzzle strategy, bite-sized physics, and indie-game picks.
Have an idea, a bug, or a feature request? We genuinely want to hear it — reach us anytime through our support form.
Thanks for being here. Building better apps, for better budgets.
