Yearly: Time Period Puzzle Privacy Policy

Thank you for playing Yearly (“the App”), developed by Budget Apps Co (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App does and does not collect.

In short: Yearly does not collect, store, or share any personal information. The App works entirely on your device.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any of the following:

Personal information (name, email address, phone number, etc.)
Account or login credentials (the App has no accounts)
Location data
Contacts, photos, or other device content
Advertising identifiers
Analytics or usage tracking data

Yearly has no servers of its own and does not send your data anywhere.

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

To make the game work, the App saves certain information only on your device using Apple’s standard local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us. It includes:

Your puzzle results, guesses, and letter grades
Your statistics, such as games played, win percentage, and streaks
Your preferences, such as whether daily reminders are enabled and the reminder time

You can permanently erase this information at any time by deleting the App from your device.

3. Notifications

If you choose to enable daily reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device to remind you to play. These notifications are generated entirely on your device. We do not use push notifications, and no notification data is sent to us or any third party. You can disable reminders at any time within the App’s settings or in your device’s Settings app.

4. Links to Other Websites

The App includes optional “Learn More” links to third-party websites (such as Wikipedia) so you can read more about a puzzle’s answer. If you tap these links, you will leave the App and be subject to the privacy practices of those websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any third-party site. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

The App includes a feature that lets you share your daily results using your device’s standard share sheet. Any sharing is initiated by you and handled entirely by the apps or services you choose (for example, Messages or Mail). We do not collect or have access to anything you share.

6. Children’s Privacy

Yearly does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The App is suitable for general audiences.

7. Data Security

Because all App data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to us, your information is protected by your device’s own security features.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
